- St. John Ambulance (Cambridge Branch) is looking for Gift-wrap Supervisors to help lead the Gift-wrap Fundraiser in December of 2010. Position includes gift-wrapping, customer relations, and providing training or direction to other gift-wrappers as required. Volunteers are needed for a minimum of two 4-hour shifts from December 1st to the 24th, at Cambridge Center Mall. Morning, afternoon and evening shifts available. - The Mill Race Folk Society has the following volunteer opportunities for the Mill Race Festival, on Friday July 30 to Sunday August 1:
Event Volunteers: Site set up/ tear down; Information Booth;
Merchandise Sales; Performer’s registration desk; Program Sales/Donation
Collection; Shuttle Bus Driver (must have a valid drivers license); Children's
Area (supervision of children's activities). Shifts (usually 3 to 4 hours
long) are available on Friday afternoon & evening; and Saturday/Sunday
morning, afternoon, and evening.
Performers
Merchandise Co-ordinator: Responsible for sales of performers’ CDs and
instructing the volunteers who handle the sales throughout the weekend. The coordinator will also tally up and pay the performers by cheque at the end of
the festival weekend.

Rock the Mill youth music festival takes place downtown Cambridge on Saturday August 21 and event volunteers are needed to assist with set up, take down, information, stage crew, site and more!
